The coffee shop with the best sofas in Oxford (and why I'm telling everyone this, I don't know), except maybe for [Puccino's]?. It is always full up at lunchtime and mid-afternoon, and serves usual coffee shop fare. The coffee itself is good, and sandwiches and other snacks are available (though rather expensive)
This shop is on the first floor of the main Blackwell's shop, and is an excellent place to sample your literary purchases.
At some time in 2005 or before, it was taken over by Caffé Nero, and is no longer a Coffee Republic.
