The Oxford Guide

A farmers' market held on Saturdays between 10am and 1pm at East Oxford Primary School, just off Cowley Road behind Tesco. There's a cafe open in the same building during market hours, too.

On a visit in February 2012, stalls included a very popular bread stall (with a few minutes' queuing to get served), as well as other stalls selling vegetables, macarons, cakes, pastries (e.g. borek), falafel, ready-prepared vegan food, cheeses (cow, sheep, and goat cheese from Crudge's Cheese, who are there on the first and third Saturday of each month), apple juice, and various Fairtrade-branded goods.
