Kake/Reviews/Oriental Condor

Kake's review of the Oriental Condor, December 2011:

The dim sum was decent but not outstanding. The har gow were well-constructed, with eleven pleats (the higher the number of pleats, the greater the skill of the chef), but the prawns inside seemed a little overcooked. Rice with preserved vegetable and minced pork was well-flavoured but I normally expect a more glutinous strain of rice in this dish. Pea shoot dumplings had lovely green wrappings and plenty of tasty pea shoots inside. The staff were friendly and helpful, and were happy to accommodate the eight-month-old baby in our party.
