This is a popular touristy spot during the summer, but students can also be regularly found here partly because they look after the punts of a few colleges less fortunate than those near the [[Cherwell]]. The Boathouse includes a very nice (but expensive) restaurant, a cafÃ©, and (of course) a [[Punting | punt]] hiring station. Expect to queue for up to an hour if you turn up on a particularly sunny afternoon. It is situated on one of the best punting spots on the Cherwell - a nice leisurely punt is up to the [[Victoria Arms]], and the more adventurous can spend a day punting up past the Victoria Arms to the ring road, then back down past the Cherwell Boathouse to the [[Rollers]] and back. For bonus points, go all the way past [[Magdalen College]], [[Magdalen College School]], [[St. Hilda's College]], [[Christ Church Meadow]] down to the [[Thames or Isis | Isis]].
