Main information

Please note that the below information is now out of date as the shop has changed ownership since 3rd August 2008. As of 20th August 2008, the shop still looks the same, but the name Sinoco has been (badly) painted over on the front. The new owners are called Y@S@I computers - http://www.yasai.co.uk/ Sinoco is generally regarded as the choice of the discerning geek on a shoestring for buying all manner of computer (PC at least, I don't think they tend to do Mac-specific stuff) parts and systems. CPU fan suddenly die and need replacing? Sudden desire to double your hard drive space? Need a stash of cheap CDRs? Sinoco's the place. Sinoco is run efficiently, and stocks the sort of components that you'd be unlikely to find at [[PC World]]. It's usually worthwhile to ring in advance if you're after an obscure part, though. Their web site offers a theoretically complete price list in HTML and Excel formats, although both formats are sometimes considered less than optimum. Paul Warren has put up a replacement [http://www.ex-parrot.com/~pdw/sinoco.html HTML version] which may be easier to use.
