This was, at one point, a fantastic pub owned by Morrell's (but still great) and run by Eddie somebody or other.

Visitors should be aware that the Bookbinders would be classed as a slightly eccentric pub (sorry make that very eccentric).
If a pub with a bike, inflatable crocodile and a train set hanging from the ceiling is your thing, you might just want to settle down here. The selection of beers is fantastic but people searching for a non-hops-based drink may find better offers elsewhere. Oh did I mention the free monkey nuts? Beware of the toilet doors.

*Quiz night Tuesdays
*Live Jazz Thursdays??

This was, at one point, a fantastic pub owned by Morrell's (but still great) and run by Eddie somebody or other. Unfortunately, Eddie's moved to a pub in Bladon and the new landlord is reported as being "a bit of a wanker". The food is generally OK, but I don't know what the beer is like these days.
