Used to be a nice-enough pub. Serves chain food, including a 'Double Chocolate Challenge', which can lead to all kinds of hilarity if your girlfriend's mother's English is slightly kooky, and she suggests your girlfriend takes a bite of your 'chocolate challenge'. How we laughed. ho ho ho.
Also attached by means of a (not so) secret passage to The Turl, underage drinking mecca of Oxford.
