The Beat Cafe was a nice little place, seriously hip, but the drinks were cheap (PBI of 4 quid). Chairs a little uncomfortable, but nicely done up. As good for drinks in the evening as a nice coffee in the afternoon.
The Beat Cafe is now closed and being refurbished.
There is a sign in the window saying "Angel cocktail bar coming soon" or similar. (15 April 2005)
