At the moment, they're doing a special offer of all baguettes or paninis for £2.00. (It was £1.50 for their first two months, but changed at the start of November). Best guess is normal prices will kick in after Christmas, so enjoy the cheaper sandwiches which you can!
At the moment, they're doing a special offer of all baguettes or paninis for £1.50, but this is an opening offer, and will almost certainly stop soon. (It's still going as of the 14th August, around 2 weeks after they opened though)

A large latte is £2.25, and is nicely made (though it does take a while). Haven't tried anything else drinks wise. They did a cheaper coffee offer around the time they opened, but this is no longer available. That said, their prices are pretty good anyway.

This new cafe is situated in the old bookshop on Walton Street, between the Co-Op Walton Street and Jude The Obscure. It opened at the start of August 2008.

At the moment, they're doing a special offer of all baguettes or paninis for £1.50, but this is an opening offer, and will almost certainly stop soon. (It's still going as of the 14th August, around 2 weeks after they opened though)

Their board shows their normal prices will be around £2.50 for baguettes, £3 for paninis. They do 10-15 different fillings for each, but not all are available all the time so far. They have a decent selection of pastries and cakes, most for a little over a pound.

A large latte is £2.25, and is nicely made (though it does take a while). Haven't tried anything else drinks wise. As of mid August, they're also doing a special offer of any medium coffee for £1, but this seems to just be an introductory thing.

They have three tables outside on Walton Street, and about 10 tables inside (including some at the back). The decor is bright but minimal, with a few nice cafe scene paintings on the wall. Look out for the few old books plastered into the wall by the door!

If you're there at a quiet time, the owner is quite likely to chat. He seems to have a large number of interesting stories, and was engaged in a long discussion on bits of the middle east to visit as a tourist with another customer last time I visited. Much more personal service than at some of the bigger chains!
