The Oxford Guide - Differences between Version 18 and Version 6 of Caffé Nero

Version 18 Version 6

In my rather humble opinion Caffé Nero is the best chain of cafés in the UK. They claim to have the "Best Espresso this side of Milan" and although I can't claim to have been to every café this side of Milan (I am working my way though) I'm not going to argue with them. One notable point that distinguishes them from many other cafés is that they include a double shot of espresso in all their tall drinks unless you ask otherwise. The result? No more weak americanos! They also have soya-milk and make very nice tea I'm told.

Located on high street, Nero is just beside an entrace to the Covered Market and temptingly close to Ben's Cookies. If the seating upstairs is crowded try downstairs where there's far more comfy seating although the slightly smokey atmosphere might not be your thing. The staff are very pleasant and the service is quick. Worth asking for is the student loyalty card that gives every seventh drink free instead of every tenth. They have a nice selection of cakes, although the muffins aren't quite to my liking.

Other Caffé Nero shops in Oxford are inside Blackwell's and on Gloucester Green.

I haven't a clue as to the quality of the cooked food or cold drinks, can someone help here?
