Opened on 4th October as a refurbishment of the Pub Oxford, reverting to its original name.

It is similar to the new style Jericho Tavern, with a fair amount of decent beer (reportedly 4 cask beers including Deuchars IPA and Tim Taylors, and 12 contintental draught beers including Paulaner and Franziskaner).

Sadly, on a recent visit here for Sunday lunch, the food was brought out cold, and no attempt was made to rectify this when it was brought to the staff's attention. Let's hope this was just a teething trouble, as otherwise the place is very smart.
