Opened on 4th October as a refurbishment of the Pub Oxford, reverting to its original name. |
From on or about the 3rd October (according to a postcard I picked up from Oddbins they are having a 'preview' from 6pm on that day) this will be a venue. Of some sort. Probably a wine bar, I would assume. Used to be the Pub Oxford, which apparently used to be the Cape of Good Hope. Go figure. |

It is similar to the new style [[Jericho Tavern]], with a fair amount of decent beer (reportedly 4 cask beers including Deuchars IPA and Tim Taylors, and 12 contintental draught beers including Paulaner and Franziskaner). |
According to the oxcamra-events mailing list, it's more like the new style [[Jericho Tavern]], with a fair amount of decent beer. |
