Carterton Primary School.

Carterton is a small town in rural Oxfordshire. It is close to Burford and Witney. It serves the RAF Base at Brize Norton, and we have close ties with the base. Carterton Primary School is a large school with over 400 pupils on roll. Over 60% of the children come from service backgrounds, their parents working at RAF Brize Norton. We have a Nursery Unit attached to the school which takes three and four year old children. The children start school in the term in which they are five years old and move into the Reception Class. The children leave school at the end of the school year in which they reach their eleventh birthday. The children move on to Carterton Community College when they leave school.
