Chancellor
The Chancellor, who is usually an eminent public figure elected by the Convocation for life, serves as the titular head of the Oxford University, presiding over all major ceremonies.
The current Chancellor is Chris Patten, the previous Chancellor was Lord Jenkins of Hillhead.
