Christ Church Meadows run from [Christ Church College]? down to the Thames or Isis. The Meadows can be accessed from St. Aldates through the memorial gardens, from [Christ Church College]? itself, from Merton Street between [Christ Church College]? and Merton College, from Rose Lane by the Botanical Gardens and from the north river path. The meadows themselves are rectangular in shape and a path runs around them alongside the Thames and the Cherwell. Many of the boat houses can be accessed at the south east corner of the meadows.

The tourist entrance to [Christ Church College]? is through the Meadows and they also contain playing fields belonging to Merton College School. There is a ferry across the Cherwell that lands near Magdalen College School and St. Hilda's College
