The \"snug\" bar [http://www.flickr.com/photos/kake_pugh/6801166848/ photo] (on the right as you go in) has a wood fire (not in action on this warm-enough Spring day), a large flatscreen (this afternoon, showing sport with the sound on), an upright piano, a wooden unpadded armchair. two large sofas flanking a low coffee table, a number of barstools, and a single round table with four upright chairs. The floorboards are exposed and varnished, and the walls are panelled below and papered above. A poster advertises live music on Friday evening. Three other customers in this side when I arrived around 3:30pm on a Friday afternoon. There's also some outdoor seating along the side of the pub, overlooking the canal.\n\nAccessibility: A step to get in, and two more steps to get to the loos.
