NOW CLOSED Serves a selection of Japanese meals including sushi. Tends to keep more regular opening hours than Edamamé but the menus aren't particularly comparable (Edamamé serving home cooked style food). The restaurant is fairly small with a long kaiten-zushi bar and there's enough Japanese pop culture attached to the walls to keep an otaku interested.

The food is good and £15-20 should get you a fair amount of sushi, miso soup and a drink. Sushi is as nice as you're likely to find outside of larger cities. Service is slightly erratic and the waiter certainly has character but I don't think it gets too much in the way.
