The Harcourt Arms, situated in a rather pretty village a 20 minute drive from Oxford, acquired new management in December 2004 and is now a fairly smart pub and restaurant. We went on a Sunday lunchtime and had their £12 three course set meal, which was inventive and tasty, although the portions were quite small. Beers on offer were Adnams bitter and Marston's Pedigree.

After lunch, why not talk a stroll? We did a 2 mile circular walk on surrounding footpaths, to Sutton and back.
