The Harcourt Arms, situated in a rather pretty village a 20 minute drive from Oxford, acquired new management in December 2004 and is now a fairly smart pub and restaurant. We went on a Sunday lunchtime and had their 12 three course set meal, which was inventive and tasty, although the portions were quite small. Beers on offer were Adnams bitter and Marston's Pedigree.

After lunch, why not talk a stroll? We did a 2 mile circular walk on surrounding footpaths, to Sutton and back.
