Nice pub opposite Tescos. Tends to get quite full, particularly in Winter when the patio out the back is not so pleasant. They keep a good range of guest ales, that appear reasonably kept. I remember the bar staff as being friendly.

Weird tall chairs. And don't forget to ask the Chef what part of Australia he's from for some hijinks.

20% off for students 7-9pm Mon-Thurs, all day Wednesday. (At least I think this was the offer on the sign - July 2004)
