Nice pub opposite Tescos. Tends to get quite full, particularly in Winter when the patio out the back is not so pleasant. They keep a good range of guest ales, that appear reasonably kept. I remember the bar staff as being friendly.
Weird tall chairs. And don't forget to ask the Chef what part of Australia he's from for some hijinks.
£1.92 Ales, and house doubles for £1.90 for students maybe during specified hours (At least I think this was the offer on the sign - April 2005)
