Cosy, loungey venue hidden in plain sight on Hollybush Row (Oxpens Road). A real secret gem that even some locals don't know about. Food 12-2pm daily; also late night tapas menu. Gravelly garden at rear. Wheelchair friendly. Dogs allowed. Garden. DJs play eclectic funk, soul, afrobeat, jazz, brasilian goodies, etc on a Saturday night. Great friendly vibe. This pub is a convenient meeting point for [[The Jam Factory]], [[Lava & Ignite]], or even [[EAMAYL]]. This pub has San Miguel and Hoegaarden on tap, they also do a good range of cocktails. [[PerfDave]] recommends the Godfather. There's a nice gravelled garden out the back in the shade, which makes a pleasant place to relax in summer. I have heard that you can get a tripple vodka+coke for 2.50 here. Apart from that I can't see it being convenient for much other than the Jam Factory or Park End. address='' |
