Cosy, loungey venue hidden in plain sight on Hollybush Row (Oxpens Road). A real secret gem that even some locals don't know about. Food 12-2pm daily; also late night tapas menu. Gravelly garden at rear. Wheelchair friendly. Dogs allowed. Garden. DJs play eclectic funk, soul, afrobeat, jazz, brasilian goodies, etc on a Saturday night. Great friendly vibe. |
I have heard that you can get a triple vodka+coke for 2.50 here. This pub is a convenient meeting point for the [[Jam Factory]], [[Park End]], or even [[EAMAYL]]. |

This pub has Budvar and Hoegaarden on tap, the former at least is a welcome rarity. They also do a good range of cocktails. [[PerfDave]] recommends the Godfather. There's a nice gravelled garden out the back in the shade, which makes a pleasant place to relax in summer. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff, worth a visit. |
