Hoyle's of Oxford is an independent, family-run games shop based in Oxford since 1997. We sell traditional and vintage games including chess, backgammon, mah jong and go, alongside a wide range of board games: family classics, newcomers, award-winners and hard-to-find independent, niche games.

We also stock a wide range of puzzles, jigsaws, playing cards, magic and juggling supplies. We’re still building our new website so if you can't find what you're looking for on our online shop, please do drop us an email, visit us in Oxford or give us a call! We’re sure to have what you’re looking for.

Visitors to Hoyle's will receive a warm welcome from owner Phillip, his sister Linda and daughter Emily. All are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about everything to do with traditional and rare games.
