In Spring 2007, this pub was displaying a banner stating "Under new management", and in early May, the Oxford Mail reported that Greene King intends to sell this pub and that it "would ideally suit an individual operator looking to invest in and run a freehold." There was no food being served during a weekday visit around lunchtime and the signs outside keep changing from "kitchen open" to "kitchen closed". For now, I'd assume there's no food unless you check first!
