Junior Common Room - the hub of social activities for a college's undergraduates. As well as being used to refer to the undergraduate student body, the JCR can also refer to a room set aside for undergraduates.

Typcially the JCR is decorated with audio/visual entertainment equipment (read TV) and any number of pub type games such as pool and table football.
