Gloucester Green is two parts, separated by a terrace with shop units at ground floor level and posh flats above. One side is the bus station while the other is as close to a town square as you're likely to find ... Pigeons + restaurants + benches with underage kids drinking bottles of wine. That they've pushed the cork into. Because they didn't have a corkscrew. And were fairly impressed with themselves for getting served actually.
The main market square is home to the weekly food and antiques and second hand goods markets, as well as a monthly farmers market.
Underneath Gloucester Green is an underground car park.
