MOMA, Oxford recently changed their name to Modern Art Oxford as they are not really a museum with a static collection on display, but a modern art gallery hosting a number of visiting exhibitions a year. The quality of the exhibitions can be variable but even the worst have something worth visiting. Some of my favourites have been "Open City: Street Photographs since 1950", "David Goldblatt: Fifty-one Years" and "Veil". There's a Café downstairs but I've yet to try it, possibly since G&Ds is so close by. |
