Modern Art Oxford (formerly MOMA, Oxford) has a national and international reputation for the quality of it's pioneering exhibitions of modern and contemporary art.
Modern Art Oxford was, until recently, known as MOMA, Oxford. They changed their name as they are not really a museum with a static collection on display, but a modern art gallery hosting a number of visiting exhibitions a year.

Temporary exhibitions are staged every 8-10 weeks. Admission is free.
The quality of the exhibitions can be variable but even the worst have something worth visiting. Some of my favourites have been "Open City: Street Photographs since 1950", "David Goldblatt: Fifty-one Years" and "Veil".

There's a Shop and a Café downstairs that offers good food where live music concerts, film screenings and poetry events take place.
