A range of tasty sandwich-type things, available in baguette, pitta or pannini form. Includes some fairly traditional fillings, but also some more exotic middle-eastern dishes: kibbeh, falafel (cooked fresh on the premises), tabbouleh etc. Try the pitta with falafel, hummous & spicy potato, with a dash of chilli sauce. Mmm. |
Update: this is now doing a 'meal deal' for the start of term - baguette or falafel, crisps and a drink for £2.89. (Still? Which term? Didn't notice a mention of it last time I was here.) |

Also a range of drinks (hot & cold), cookies, chocolate, cigarettes and so on. No longer serves soup, as far as I know. After comprehensive (ish) sampling, I've not found any dolmas (stuffed vine leaves) to match Najar's in central Oxford. |
They also appear to sell Walls' ice cream and some kind of crushed-ice fruit drink. Cans are 60p. He is also making milkshakes/smoothies now, with real actual fruit in a blender, for £2. |

The range of food has recently increased, to include hot things such as falafels and kibbeh (small breaded things with mince in, very tasty), and soup. After comprehensive (ish) sampling, I've not found any dolmas (stuffed vine leaves) to match Najar's in central Oxford. Highly recommended! |
