The small green shed that was shut for ages is now a small blue shed that is open. And what a gem it is too! |

A range of tasty sandwich-type things, available in baguette, pitta or pannini form. Includes some fairly traditional fillings, but also some more exotic middle-eastern dishes: kibbeh, falafel (cooked fresh on the premises), tabbouleh etc. Try the pitta with falafel, hummous & spicy potato, with a dash of chilli sauce. Mmm. |
I bought a prawn mayo baguette there today, and a can of coke, for £2.80. The baguette was particularly large, and good. The baguettes are now freshly-baked and very good, the switch appears to be permanent. Slightly cheaper than most at £2 for sandwiches. |

Also a range of hot and cold drinks, including the best latte in town, cookies, chocolate, cigarettes and so on. No longer serves soup, as far as I know. After comprehensive (ish) sampling, I've not found any dolmas (stuffed vine leaves) or falafel to match Najar's in central Oxford. |
They also appear to sell Walls' ice cream and some kind of crushed-ice fruit drink. Cans are a reasonable 55p. |

Najar and his friend Masood are friendly, quick and always remember your favourite order. Plans are afoot to expand the range of cooked food available in the future. |
Friendly staff, too. |
