A really nice pub in picturesque Iffley, if this were on the river, it would be a real tourist trap. The crowds used to go to the Isis Tavern which is now in the process of renaming itself the Isis Farmhouse. Though the Prince of Wales remains a bit of a secret for those in the know it's a secret that many are starting to share especially since being recently taken over by Peter & Lona.
The range of food is pretty standard for a pub, but of good quality with plenty of choice for omnivores and vegetarians alike.
The pub is owned by Wadsworth and always has 6X, Henry's IPA, Henry's Smooth, JCB and a one or two seasonal Wadworth ales on as well as a couple of guests. The wines selection has recently been extended.
All welcome including walkers, children & dogs.
Regular Darts, Aunt Sally, Board Games and chat.
Open 10.00 every morning
