The Oxford Guide - Differences between Version 25 and Version 1 of Redbridge Waste Recycling Centre

Version 25 Version 1
== Line 1 == == Line 1 ==
Redbridge waste recycling centre off Abingdon Road - the "tip" - is the place to take everything that isn't suitable for kerbside rubbish collections, whether unsafe (batteries), not otherwise recycled (Tetrapaks) or simply bulky.

It's open every day of the week including Sunday.
The County Council website says that it's open on bank holidays - this includes Easter but doesn't include Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day. Note that it can get very crowded at weekends.

Take your domestic rubbish in a car or use a trailer less than 1
.8m long. If you use a van or longer trailer you will likely be turned away, unless you have a permit (obtainable free from Speedwell House).

Six large skips are numbered:

1 Cardboard<br

2 Timber<br

3 Landfill
4 Landfill
5 Green
waste (i.e. garden waste)
