It's open every day of the week including Sunday. The County Council website says that it's open on bank holidays - this includes Easter but doesn't include Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day.

Six large skips are numbered:

2 Timber
3 Landfill
4 Landfill
5 Green waste (i.e. garden waste)
6 Metals (including drinks cans but also large items with metal parts)

Other sections of the tip are available for all the following:

  • bikes and bike parts (refurbished by Oxford Cycle Workshop)
