The Oxford Guide

Tends to have decent selection of beer (including a substantial range of continental bottled beers — try the Schneider Weisse) and serves rather good (if commensurately priced) 'gourmet pub' food until 10pm; be warned, though, that they tend to run out of popular items. They seem to be somewhat disorganised though, often having run out of half the dishes by the end of the evening. Still it's under new(ish) management, so this may improve.
