A medium-sized town supermarket, it gets very very busy during peak times (lunchtime and early evening) especially at the weekends. Be prepared to queue but generally the wait will not be too long. There are several self service machines that are almost always available with just a short wait. Marks and Spencers is also convenient but the prices at M&S are much higher, so be aware of that if you choose to shop there instead.

It's the larger of the two Sainsbury's in central Oxford (the smaller being on Magdalen Street), and carries a fairly wide range of stock. It does have most of the special offers and some specialty items including a gluten free section
