St. Mary's is the University Church and very interesting from a historical point as much of the early history of the University centred around activity in the Church. Here Oxford Martyrs were tried and John Wesley preached.

The tower is open to those who wish to climb the steps to the top and it offers fantastic views over Oxford. Entrance to the tower: adults 1.60; children (under 16) 80 pence. For details of services see the Church's website.
