If you want great wines for sensible prices in a very nice atmosphere, here is the place to go. Prices start at around 4 quid/glass (or 12ish/bottle), and go up to about 20 quid/bottle, but for this you get wines that you could well pay a lot more for elsewhere.

The interior is really nicely decorated and the staff are friendly.

They offer plates of meats, cheese or pate along with a couple of other foods that are simple and complement the wine. If you are after something hot and more substantial you can get a pizza from Mama Mias over the road, and they will provide a plate for a reasonable corkage of 2 quid.

Wifi is available although with a weak signal. Sitting inside near the bar is best. Minimal power outlets.
