This pub has completed its mission of becoming the mini-me of the Mitre, which is as 'next-door' as the geometry of the Mitre buildings permits. It used to do a varied selection of interesting burgers, but it is now a Beefeater like the Mitre.

For the real ale fans, the closest it gets is Boddington's, Hoegaarden, and one other similar beer whose name I forget.

The average price of a main course, based on a party of 3, is about 7 pounds.
