This pub has completed its mission of becoming the mini-me of the Mitre, which is as 'next-door' as the geometry of the Mitre buildings permits, and in fact connected by an internal passage. It used to do a varied selection of interesting burgers, but it is now a Beefeater like the Mitre. You can get a large plate of slightly substandard nachos cheap though.

It's worth noting that this is the underage drinking palace of Oxford. Any suggestion that this is related to the bar staff being mostly only just 18, and trying to impress slightly younger girls is surely misplaced.

Has a pool table.

The average price of a main course, based on a party of 3, is about 7 pounds.
