Not good food but okay beer. This is a Sam Smith pub, stocking a range of their beers including a very nice stout and possibly the cheapest draught bitter you'll find outside of the student bars. Their weissbeer was a bit insipid, however. |

The sight of cloned Southern Comfort and Archers is a sight to behold. The Peach Schnapps confused me by tasting of peach unlike Archers. |

It's a slightly odd pub, with two entrances from the street, one down into the basement and one up to the slightly-above-street-level room. The downstairs has the decor of a rather well kept public toilet, is a bit too bright and suffers from a fruit machine. My recollection is that this pub gets very busy on Friday nights, but it was quite empty on a weeknight.
