The people that may have taken a bad viiew over Tigerlily's ability to tattoo and pierce people probably didn't take could care of the work they had done, or didn't want to admit that they wanted really crap stuff tattooed on their bodies. Tigerlily from my point of view is an awesome fountain of knowledge from the staff and also a good place to go to scope out decent things to do in Oxford. |

Tiger Lily is Oxford's main purveyor of alternative clothing to the youth of the city. There's a wide selection of designer-label clothing from the li, along with all sorts of kitch bags and ornaments, and an array of smoking paraphenalia. Can be a good place to pick up odd colours of hair dye and makeup at short notice. The staff are pretty friendly.
In the past our contributors have been less than happy with the piercing and tattooing services, but the staff of Tiger Lily tell us that as of 2008 this is an out of date view and that in particular their piercers and tattooists are well trained with a lot of experience.
An anonymous visitor in April 2008 tells us that they believe Tiger Lily is "Oxford's oldest and most successful alternative shop" and that the shop "excels at providing the best in alternative clothes, gifts, smoking, and body jewellery". Our anonymous friend also thinks that Tiger Lily is "the city's best piercing and tattooing establishment". That is obviously a complete joke. lol!!!
