Main information
Content:
[http://www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/ First Great Western], [http://www.crosscountrytrains.co.uk CrossCountry Trains] and [http://www.chilternrailways.co.uk Chiltern Railways] run regular services to/from Oxford. The train line leads south to Didcot Parkway and Reading and north through Banbury. The train station has a handful of shops including a small WHSmith, an AMT espresso stall and ticket/travel desks. Taxis and buses collect from the station and the main [[bus station]] is a short walk away. See the national rail enquiries website for detailed information on trains to and from Oxford; there is also a [http://station.thamestrains.co.uk/Oxford.html live departures and arrivals board], and Matthew Somerville's [http://www.traintimes.org.uk/oxford/ Accessible Train Timetables] and [http://www.traintimes.org.uk/map/?oxf Live Train Map] services. Trains to London run roughly every half an hour, take an hour to get there, terminate in Paddington and cost more than £30 NOT including day travelcard, which also gets you on the Tube. There is a separate station in north Oxford called [[Oxford Parkway]].
