This pub is located on the Oxford side of Yarnton, by the A44, and a stone's throw from the Canal.

They have a decent sized garden outside, which can be very nice for eating in in the summer. Inside seems to be a bit dark, but that's probably in keeping with the age of the building.

As it's a Vintage Inns pub, the food nice, but virtually the same as in the Trout Inn. Starters are around the 5-6 pound mark, mains 8-12. Well cooked, and normally quite a short wait.

They had a few real ales on tap, and the usual selection of lagers.

There's also plenty of space in the garden to put bikes, which is handy since it's next to the NR5 cycle route.
