The Oxford Guide - Differences between Version 7 and Version 1 of University Parks

Version 7 Version 1
Line 1 == == Line 0
The University parks are situated on the east of the river Cherwell just north of the University Science Area and west of Parks Road. They cover approximately 70 acres in a rectangular area and include areas for football, tennis and cricket as well as a general play area at the western end. The cricket pavilion, cherwell and the pond are the most prominent features.

The parks can be accessed either from Parks Road, from the bridge over the Cherwell, next to Linacre College by the South Lodge or from the North by Lady Margaret Hall. The parks are very popular and there is much of interest both in the archaeology and wildlife. An ice cream van sits on Parks Road to tempt students leaving the Computing Laboratory and engineering area.
