Gave the impression of being extremely competent, if perhaps a little eccentric, when they sold me a new bike. They were quite happy to give (sensible sounding) opinions, on matters relating to both bicycles and the philosophy of education! Their range centres around Dawes cycles and, in fact, they prominently display a Dawes authorised retailer logo.

I've been using Warlands for years. It is a fantastic shop staffed by knowledgeable, helpful people who will sell you the bike and parts you need, rather than the flashiest, most expensive, or most profitable. If you're after a Brompton, a tandem, or some other kind of relatively specialist kit they simply can't be beaten. An Oxford institution, and deservedly so.
