The Oxford Guide - Differences between Version 11 and Version 10 of Wok 23

Version 11 Version 10

I (Ganesh) have generally found the service to be OK - friendly if sometimes a bit slow.

A cheap and cheerful Chinese restaurant and take-away at the bottom of Woodstock Road, nearly opposite Little Clarendon Street. Has a fairly bog-standard menu; service is quick the food is cheap and good. Oh, and it has a nice view over a graveyard, but don't let that put you off.

Used to be known as Friends, and then Wok 22 for a while, before settling on Wok 23.

Some of us (Simon et al.) have stopped going to Wok 2x since they became somewhat careless with the amount of meat in the vegetarian dishes. The new owners are better than the last lot, and have extended the menu with some very good duck and noodle dishes, but they still play Abba and Fox FM on the radio and they still provide abysmal service. But it's cheap and quick, and a good place for hackers to meet up.

But if you want cheap, quick and hacker-friendly, why not try the Radcliffe Arms, which is the traditional ox.scoff spot?
