I have heard that you can get a triple vodka+coke for 2.50 here. This pub is a convenient meeting point for the [Jam Factory]?, [Park End]?, or even EAMAYL.

This pub has Budvar and Hoegaarden on tap, the former at least is a welcome rarity. They also do a good range of cocktails. PerfDave recommends the Godfather. There's a nice gravelled garden out the back in the shade, which makes a pleasant place to relax in summer. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff, worth a visit.

Opens at 7pm on Sundays, unusually. However, you can always go to the [other Chequers]? next door.
